TRUQAP (capivasertib) is a kinase inhibitor. The molecular formula for capivasertib is C21H25ClN6O2 and the molecular weight is 428.92 g/mol. The chemical name of capivasertib is 4-amino-N-[(1S)-1-(4- chlorophenyl)-3-hydroxypropyl]-1-(7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-yl)-4-piperidinecarboxamide. Capivasertib is a white to off-white powder with pH-dependent solubility. It is freely soluble in water at pH values below 1.2 and practically insoluble at pH values above 6.8.
Tablets: 160 mg and 200 mg
400 mg orally twice daily, with or without food, for 4 days followed by 3 days off.
TRUQAP is a kinase inhibitor indicated, in combination with fulvestrant for the treatment of adult patients with hormone receptor (HR)-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-negative, locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer with one or more PIK3CA/AKT1/PTEN-alterations as detected by an FDA-approved test following progression on at least one endocrine-based regimen in the metastatic setting or recurrence on or within 12 months of completing adjuvant therapy.
